Residual Income On The Internet
Affiliate marketing is a great way to get started
on the internet. And there's no doubt that affiliate programs will always play a large
role in supplementing website income.
But to rely on them as a sole source of internet
income is not smart.
Why? Because YOU have no leverage. The vendor has
the leverage - you are working for THEM.
That's fine if you just want to make sales and
earn some nice pocket-money. However if you want to develop a substantial reliable long
term income you'll need more.
You need the leverage of network marketing
to get higher up the internet food chain...
The marketing gurus have all the answers of
course:
Write
your own newsletter/e-zine and build your opt-in subscriber list - Yes it works and I
recommend you do.
Create
and market your own product. Preferably a digital information product. They cost nothing
to reproduce - once you have the master copy, computers do the rest. And digital info
products use the internet itself as the distribution network. These are not mere
advantages....
Digital info-products are the PERFECT product for
the net. We're talking the "Holy Grail" of the internet here. Real money
machines. Launch your product with an affiliate program and you'll have any amount of
eager affiliates who will advertise and sell the product for you. Of course this is ideal
and highly recommended.
Create
a unique and "sticky" site. Provide lot's of valuable content and information.
Run your own forums or chatroom. Again, these ideas work.
Unfortunately... most folk have a
serious problem with these ideas - lack of time. Most of us are so busy these days that,
quite frankly, we haven't got the time to think - let alone create a worthy info-product
or become a fulltime "webmaster". Fine-tuning sites, visiting marketing forums,
tweaking and testing in the pursuit of ever more traffic.
To me that spells second J-O-B rather than
economic salvation!
The good news... There is a way to use the
internet that makes PERFECT sense and is consistent with a simple proven money-making
philosophy - that of achieving maximum leverage. A small amount of money in for a larger
amount out. Or a small amount of effort for a larger long-term result.
It's network
marketing of course. No... not the old dinosaurs that sell the dream
and leave their distributors to live the nightmare. I wouldn't insult your intelligence by
offering you impossible time-wasters or MLM scams.
There are new era referral marketing opportunities
that are evolving with the internet that you must seriously consider. Real ways to
generate very substantial ongoing residual income without sacrificing your
lifestyle. Combine them with worthwhile affiliate programs and the sky is the
limit.
